BOBBIN HOUSE LODGING SUITE

The Bobbin House Suite is short-term lodging for travelers who appreciate the arts and want an alternative to the usual lodging choices available.

The suite (the entire second floor of Bobbin House Studio) is a private and totally secure three-room space with sitting room, bedroom, and ceramic tiled bathroom.

Fully furnished to accommodate one or two guests; it has 2 twin-size "Sleep Number" beds, 2 closets, 2 dressers, 2 recliners, desk, dining table and chairs, big-screen TV and DVD player, assorted books, games and a few classic movies.

Planned with textile artists in mind, there is a secure storage closet for stowing suitcases and all of your creative gear. The task lights in the sitting room are even fitted with full-spectrum lamps! The comfortable ambience and whimsical decor are intended to put you in the mood for fun and creativity.

Rooms have ceiling fans and are individually heated and air-conditioned for maximum personalized comfort.

The suite is not a B&B. Guests share the fully-equipped kitchen with Bobbin House Studio on the first floor, so you can do your own light cooking, including those late-night snacks!

For travelers who appreciate the textile arts and crafts, the whimsy starts at the entry door on the second-floor. Movie-theater carpet and custom-painted walls meant to look like enlarged fabrics create a one-of-a-kind environment so you know you're going to feel comfortable and creative! Built-in night lights in all rooms will keep you sure-footed even when it's dark.

The sitting room is ready for your relaxation and enjoyment. Recliners, TV, DVD, radio/CD player, desk, table & chairs, books, games, and classic movies make having fun easy. Original art (much of it for sale) decorates the walls.

The sparkling bathroom is fully ceramic-tiled. The shower has a bench seat! A storage cabinet will hold your toiletries. In short, it's everything you'll need to feel fresh and ready to go (even a hair dryer is provided!)

The bedroom has two of everything so it's easy to share with a fellow traveler. "Sleep Number" beds, high thread-count cotton sheets, clock radio with media-docking station, reading lamps, dressers, closets, full-length mirrors, extra pillows and blankets, will make your stay comfortable. A door between the sitting room and bedroom provides extra privacy.

The kitchen is equipped with all the basics and many of the extras too! The list includes refrigerator, electric stove, exhaust hood, sink, dishwasher, small appliances, stainless pots and pans, utensils, dishes, flatware, spices and condiments, complementary coffee and tea. A table and four chairs provide space for dining. Plus, ample private storage for your personal stash of food items will make you feel right at home.
